I've been having a lot of problems with my Mirena IUD! Everytime I go to the bathroom I start bleeding and then get SEVERE cramps about a half hour later. It makes me really sick to my stomache and makes me want to lay in bed all day. I called the doctor and he has been wanting me to keep an eye on it for a few weeks. I have been contimplating taking it out, but am afraid to get pregnant right off. We can't really afford any other birth control right now. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Wow! A new post after two months of nothing! A lot has happened since I last posted. I will start from the beginning and hope I dont forget about anything.
Emma has been doing awesome going to the bathroom like a big girl. She had a minor set back but nothing serious. I am so proud of her. She is doing awesome with Lilly. Best big sister anyone could ask for. She is so helpful.
Lilly is crawling all over the place. Ok ok...she is scooting all over. She can crawl but she scoots faster so thats what she turns to. She LOVES her food. Her recent favorites are mangos and pears. Any time she goes to eat, she will growl at her food and then eat it. It is so funny. She loves jumping and playing in her jumparoo. It makes it really easy to get my homework done.
Trev and I are doing good. We are both going to school and taking our shifts with the kids. Its a lot of fun. Trev was recently laid off from his job. Its really nice to have him home and catching up one time. We are both applying all over the place. Crossing our fingers that we will find something. He has been filing for unemployment but somehow our case got screwed up in their office. We have a hearing on the 20th, so hopefully we will start receiving unemployment.

We have been going to help clean the church every Saturday morning for the last couple of weeks. Its been a lot of fun. I big thanks to Andrea Stratton for doing our family pictures for us. She did an amazing job!!

~Potty Training~

So a couple of months ago we tried to get Emma to start going potty in the "BIG GIRL POTTY"! We have tried rewarding her and tried doing a bunch of different thing to get her interested. Well after a while we just decided that she wasn't ready and that we were tired of cleaning up the messes. This past month she decided on her own that she didn't like having a wet bum and she didn't like the feeling of sitting in her own poop. Emma is now wearing her diapers only at night time. As soon as she wakes up in the morning she asks for her "BIG GIRL PANTS" and wants her clothes on. She is doing AWESOME!! We are so proud of her! :)WE LOVE YOU EMMA!!

I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE!!!

I have been thinking a lot lately about my family and about the gospel and about all the people in my life that have had an influence on me in one way or another. Sometimes I sit and think about my girls and if I am teaching them what I am supposed to or if I am teaching them enough. It crosses my mind quite frequent about my girls. Here I am....I am given two of the most beautiful girls as a gift from our Heavenly Father and all He expects in return is that we teach them of Him and help them return to HIM!! What a great example of LOVE and TRUST!! I am so thankful to have a knowledge of the gospel and KNOW and be able to FEEL the love that Christ has for ALL of us. I am so thankful for my mom for raising me in the gospel and for her amazing example. I am also thankful for my mother/father-in-law for the perfect example they are to us every day. Most of all I am so thankful for my wonderful husband. I am so blessed to know he is worthy and able to attend the temple and recieve those blessings. There is no other feeling that can outlast a knowledge of being together FOREVER as a family!

Now after thinking about all of this....especially with my girls...Emma gave me the BEST answer to my prayers. We were driving around and everytime we would pass a church Emma would get all excited and start yelling, "LOOK MOM...THERE IT IS!!" Then she would turn as far around in her seat as she could to make sure she could get a good look. Then as we drove past the St. George Temple she says in a more revrent voice, "Mommy...it's Jesus' house. Isn't it so pretty?!" I was hit so strong by the spirit. It was exactly what I needed at that exact moment. I have been asking if I have been doing enough and if I need to do more to teach my girls about the gospel. Small and Simple, but I got my answer(for now at least).
I LOVE THE GOSPEL!!

WOW!! I am so bad at keeping up on my blog. A part of it is that we just barely got our computer fixed and the other half is that I am just a slacker. SO sorry for all of you that follow my blog and try to keep up on us!!

Now for a little update....

Its been a crazy summer. We have been out of town quite a bit. Its been a lot of fun being away and visiting family and old friends. We can never get enough family time. We hope to make one last trip up north before the summer is over and school starts. We want to go visit our good friends in Idaho and visit my mom.
Since my mom moved at the beginning of the summer, Emma has discovered her new IMAGINARY FRIEND named GRANDMA!!! I think its so funny but at the same time it is so sad...she misses her granny. She is also starting to swim in the pool by herself...with the tube of course..but its a start. She doesn't have to hang on me anymore! I can't get enough of Emma. She is such a great little helper. Emma is the best big sister that she can possibly be. She loves holding and playing with Lilly. Its so fun watching them together!

Lilly is sitting up on her own now! I'm so grateful for that since she would just cry unless she was upright. She still doesn't have any teeth! She is rolling all over the floor. She gets onto her stomach and tries to get onto her knees. When she finally gets onto her knees, she tries to push herself up with no luck. She just scoots instead. Its fun going through all of this baby fun again. Lilly is our little fish!! She loves bath time, and LOVES being in the swimming pool!
Trev is still working and will be going back to school in the fall. He hopes to accomplish his CNA this semester. He is amazing...I know he can do it! He has been working in the cafeteria in the Temple every saturday evening. I'm so glad he is worthy and able to do so. I am so thankful everyday that I have him. He is such an incredible help and support. I couldn't ask for a better husband.
I am starting school this fall! I am so excited. I'm going for Elementary Education. I've wanted to do this for a long time and am now getting the opportunity to do so!

We are all finally starting to feel a little better! (knock on wood) Little wasn't as congested this morning and even though Emma is still coughing its not as wet and gross as it was. YAY!! You never realize how much you take advantage of your health until you don't have it anymore.
Emma was jumping off the couch today, yelling TADA and she had Lilly laughing. It is so much fun to watch her when she laughs. I love how her little body just bounces. :)
Tomorrow is mine and Trev's 3 year anniversary. I can't believe it. Time has seriously flown by. 3 years really isn't that long but I am so happy to have made it this far. I am truely blessed to have such a wonderful husband and daddy to my babies. I LOVE YOU TREV!!!

SICK SICK SICK!

Friday Lilly woke up with a dry cough that sounded more like allergies then anything..by the end of the day she had a really wet croupy cough! We went into the instacare and they said it was only colds that we all had but they wanted me to take Lilly to the hospital to get sucked out and get a breathing treatment. I hate that...Emma had to have that done when she was this age because she had RSV! Throughout the weekend we have been in and out of the hospital with Lilly! Now this morning Emma is coughing really bad. Will this ever end. I hate seeing my girls suffer. It brakes my heart!! I think the best part of it all is that Lilly is so happy no matter what. I love her!! Hopefully we will all be better this week and we can get back to our usual selves.

The MIDGET!!

I was reading my friends blog and laughed so hard. I had to share. I hope you like it! I know I did! :) Thanks Brooke!!
This is a TRUE story.
This guy who works for my uncle randy's has a neighbor with a 37 year old son with some mental handicaps. A little while after the mom went to work she got a call from her son, he said Mom you need to come home, i caught a troll you need to come see it..... Needless to say the mom had no idea what he was talking about and was not able to leave work so she told him she couldn't come home. He called about 5 more times with the same thing asking his mom to come home cause he caught a troll. Finally the mom knew she had to go home and see what was going on, so she asked her boss if it was okay to run home and see what was going on.
When she gets home her son is pacing the hallway, sweating and stressed out. He said mom, look at this troll i caught. She follow him into the room, he has his dresser pushed up against the closet doors and his bed also. Obviously at this point the mom is thinking 'What is going on?!' So he moves the dresser and opens the closet doors, and inside was a little man...A MIDGET....of course the mom cant believe what she is seeing, and the son is so proud that he caught a troll......the gentleman in the closet said to the mom, after being locked in the closet for 5 hours and listening to your son i have realized he has some mental issues, i dont want to press charges i just want to go home...
I guess he was a Jehovah Witness and when the son opened the door and saw the little person he thought he was a troll and caught him and put him in his closet....for luck!
I cant imagine how that mom felt and what she was thinking when she realized that her son had kidnapped this man and trapped him in the closet.
After laughing at Trever, Emma, and then my mom...

LILLY FINALLY LAUGHED AT ME!!
She is so dang adorable. I love everything about her! :) I was pretty excited and had to share!

Its happening!!! Emma is starting to branch out. She's leaving my side and is getting out of her comfort zone to go play with the other kids in the neighborhood. Even though she knows them all..she still has been a little shy. It was so much fun to watch her ride her little bike up the street to play with the kids. She made sure to turn around every 5 seconds to tell me she loved me. She is so sweet. I love her to pieces!
Lilly woke up and was completely happy this morning. I love days like that. I got her dressed and changed her diaper which only made her mood even more happy. She couldn't stop smiling so I couldn't help but stop to take a picture. She is such a sweet little reminder to what life is about. I am so blessed to have both of my girls!
I love you Emma and Lilly!

The best day of the week!!

Can I tell you how much I love Sundays!! I love how life just slows down for a few hours and I get some perfect family time in. Sunday is really the only day that I get to sit back and spend time with Trev because of school and work.
I am so thankful for the gospel in my life. I can't even imagine how it would be to not have all the knowledge of eternity and life after death. I am so grateful for the atonement. I am especially thankful for temples. It is such a blessing to be able to go sit and take part of the peace that is there. I am eternally grateful to have my family sealed together.
I woke Emma up this morning to her actually being in a very good mood. She was so happy to be here and just wanted to hug me and snuggle for a minute. Then Lilly woke up and when she seen me the first thing she did was give me a huge smile. I am thankful for them and the little reminders they give me to what life is really about.

Update!!

Wow! I have to appologize for not blogging in forever. I really kinda suck at keeping up on this stuff! Both our computers crashed too so that played a big roll in me being a slacker too. I will do better...I promise!
I'm not sure where to begin!
Trev had his 21st birthday on March 21st. We didn't do much but I got him some gaming things and let him have a night. I think he liked that.

Emma is growing so fast. She is getting so smart. She is learning how to sing the alphabet and how to do head shoulders knees and toes. I love when she sings...she has such a sweet little spirit. She got invited to her very first birthday party a few weeks ago. She loved it. She came home with a little princess wand and bracelets and a little ring pop. I love that she is getting to the point where she can go out and play but doesn't have to have me right there beside her...even though I am most the time anyways. Emma's most special friend is our neighbor Oakley. She loves him to pieces. He is one one of the sweetest boys you will meet. We are blessed to have great neighbors.

Lilly is growing too fast. She is supposed to stay small and be my baby for a while. She is already 3 months. She has laughed at Trev, Emma and my mom but just won't do it for me. Ha ha...Eventually I guess. Her little smiles just melt my heart. Lilly has such a personality already. I can't wait for her to get a little older and get to know her a little more. I love being able to help her and watch her grow. Trever blessed Lilly on Valentines Day. It was such a special experience because he didn't get the opportunity to bless Emma.

I am so thankful that Heavenly Father trusts us enough to bless us with these two beautiful girls. I love being a mom!! :)

Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone! Its crazy how fast 2009 flew by. A lot has happened over the year that I am so grateful for and I just want to thank everyone for being a part of our lives.
Wow! Lilly is already growing up. She is lifting her head and is so alert. She lost her umbi cord on Saturday morning. I can't believe how happy and patient she is...I LOVE IT!! She is always sneaking in little smiles to let us know how much she loves us! AND believe it or not...she is already a DADDY'S GIRL!! She starts looking around and just smiles as soon as Trev comes in the room and starts talking. Trev says that one day we will get a kid that just wants mommy all the time. LOL! I am OK with Daddy's girls though. I love watching how proud Trev gets while he talks about them or when he is loving on them. He is one heck of a dad. I am so grateful to have him around.
Emma is such a good big sister. She is so helpful in everything she does. I was worried about jealousy and her adjusting to Lilly but she has been great. Anytime Lilly starts crying at all Emma runs right to her side to hold her hand and calm her down. Its really fun to see the bond that they already have..and the one that keeps growing stronger. I am glad to see Emma being the protective sister and guardian over Lilly!
I want to take a minute and thank Trever's family for all the love and support they have given us...throughout the past month especially. You have all been an immense help. We are so grateful that you have been right behind us with every aspect of our lives. WE LOVE YOU!!

We are truly BLESSED!!

The Murri's

We were married April 7, 2007, in Hurricane, Utah, and were later sealed in the St. George Temple. It was August 9, 2008, to be exact. It was the happiest day of our lives. We had our beautiful baby girl August 28, 2007, and had the opportunity to take her to be sealed with us. We are living in Hurricane, UT. Trever is working at S & S Steel while I am lucky enough to stay at home with Emma! Trever is a wonderful support and we are now looking forward to spending forever with each other.

Emma in her shades!
