I have lots of tips :) been trying for years to lose 25 lbs! cant do it yet , but learned alot.! have you had your thyroid checked yet? I would start with a physical, bacause an off thryroid causes weight gain and other issues.
one thing we do, is we eat from smaller plates.. so i removed all the bigger ones from the house..If you can get a budy to exercise with you.. or maybe start your own biggest loser club, like every tues weight yourselves, exercise together etc. . i also heard drink a full cup of water before each meal and break it down to small meals.. we had a trainer in our ward once and he told the YM to get their metabolism going to eat something every two hrs for like 2 weeks.. like an apple string cheese etc.. hope this helps :)

Hey! So I had no idea that you had a blog and just barely found it...hope you don't mind if I blog stalk you... :D Ok, so I've been wanting to get back in shape since I just had a baby and found out that some ladies from the ward got together 3 times a week to workout, guess what we use...? Yes, workouts from magazines ha ha. Simple, but they work. Maybe you could form some kind of workout group too. I also just bought a workout dvd called "Ripped in 30 Days" by Jillian Michaels that is awesome. I'm so sore, I've only had it for two days ha ha. You've just got to find something to keep you motivated because getting in shape always takes time unfortunately, I have to keep reminding myself. :P Good luck with everything! :)

one thing that helps me is i have a calorie counting app on my phone, and you dont necessarily have to get one on your phone to be successful because they have websites that you can set one up for free, it lets you put in your age, weight, height, and lets you set a goal weight, then tells you how many calories you can eat everyday to get to your goal weight. it's helped me so much to learn where I was going wrong in what I was eating and its easy too, you can also add in exercise and it deletes calories so that you can eat more! just google to find a website and sign up :)

I love to work out! But on the occasions I don't, I am glad I belong to a gym. Being a single-income family, we can't afford it, so I work trade. My suggestion would be to find a gym that offers two things: babysitting and trade for membership. You can ask them about housekeeping or working at the kids care. At our gym you work about 4 hours a week and get a family membership for free. Then I can go to classes where I have made friends and they count on me being there and the instructors keep you going. Also, if you are doing trade, it makes you want to go so that you aren't wasting your time working for nothing! Good luck-you can do it! Love you!
